News of civil war in the 8th kingdom had spread to all other kingdoms, and Relish was not one to sit back and not do anything about it. He was already on his way to the kingdom to take advantage of its current situation. He had a powerful army, and in his mind, it was far better to have trolls on your side than against you. There was one thing he hated about this sort of thing; negotiations. He preferred to take what he wanted, when he wanted without having to go through the process of talking. But it would be worth it. If he could gain control of a portion of the 8th kingdom, then trolls were on their way to dominating more land, and he would be able to increase his empire. Besides, he would rather be on the side of the king. It did not matter who was in power before, what mattered was who is in power now.
When he arrived he got out of his drearily decorated carriage. It was not fancy, not at all. He looked around as four of his troll minion soldiers also got out. There were a dozen more trolls in the carriage, and another wagon behind them filled with more. Relish was not stupid enough to make such a long journey without having good backup. No one would dare attempt to harm a troll though; surely no one was that stupid. He was far from his kingdom though, and way more North than he was comfortable being. Not to mention the cold that he found himself feeling. But no matter. This kingdom was large. If he helped, he would get a good portion, or so he believed.
He headed to the castle, his troll soldiers walking alongside him. "I need to speak to your king," he said in a strict tone. The soldiers looked at him quizzically, no surprise there. Relish wanted to just kill them and go inside, but he had a feeling that would put him at a disadvantage. He had to act 'civil', though civil may not even be a word in a troll's vocabulary. Nevertheless, he was a troll king and he was going to get respect for he had authority, even in a kingdom other than his own. "I am Relish the Troll King, and I demand to speak to your ruler."

Galahad saw the trolls approach and wanted to hit someone. This had 'Bad Day material' written all over it. "Alert the men. I want them on guard and ready." If they were here for the Princess' demands then it would turn into a all out battle. Galahad hoped she had not hired the troll army.
Galahad walked down to the court yard and waited for the leader to get there. "Welcome to Winterland castle. I am Galahad Sharrow. I will escort you our Emperor, but only you and one other man may enter the room were he is. The rest must stand in the hall." Galahad said so they were on the same page. "I understand, you must be someone of importance, to have so many men, but some advice...try please and thank you. Your not king here." The 8th kingdom, were very traditional. They liked fancy words, and meaning phrases. Not this brute DO it Do it, tone they had.

Advice? Was this idiot giving him advice? No one told Relish what to do. He did not appreciate that at all. He wanted to take his sword and cut this man's head off. But no. He would have to appear to be patient. He could not help but glare at the man though, even though a troll's face may look like a permanent glare. "Very well," he said as he waved his hand, shooing away three of his soldiers. He wanted to talk to the Ruler in private, so once they were they, he would make his troll minion stand outside, along with this man.
"Neither are you," Relish said as he commented that he was not king here. Relish obviously did not know that this man's brother was the king. He felt like saying something like if you were in my kingdom, I'd cut off your tongue from you mouth... but Relish with held his temper. "Lead me to him," he said, purposely leaving out any words of please and thanks. He was not a nice guy, he was not going to be polite with this guard, nor was he going to listen to his 'advice'.

"No, I am not. I am, however, General of his army, his personal body guard, and his brother. You are meanly, a....guest." Galahad said as a remind that Galahad had more power and authority then the troll 'king' here.
Galahad turned his back to the troll to lead them away. It was a message. One did not turn there back on people or animals who were thought to be threats, or scary. Galahad was not stupid however, and his men in the towers were ready to shoot the trolls of they tried anything.
Leading them into the castle and though it's great halls, Galahad too them to the Emperor's hall, to see his brother.

Grimm was not expecting any visitors. While Galahad was answering the front gate, Grimm was busy going over the Kingdom's funds, trying to decide where the money should go. However, a page came and informed him that the visitors at the gate did not leave -- one had demanded an audience with the emperor. With a sigh, Grimm left the page to tidy up the papers and things and he went to the throne room to try and look. . .regal or something.
There, he met his brother with a very ugly outsider. Taking a seat in his throne, Grimm nodded thanks to his brother and then looked to the troll, managing not to sneer at his appearance. "Welcome. We do not see many visitors in this kingdom. From where do you hail and what is your purpose here?" He was direct, yet still courtly, as was his duty.

Relish refrained from rolling his eyes at the 'general' of his army. He followed the general and soon they arrived at the room where the king was. Relish did not bow. He did not bow to anyone, no matter how much authority they claimed to have. Relish motioned for the other troll accompanying him to wait outside. "I need to speak to you, in private," he told the king.
Relish pulled out an ax from a holder attached to the side of him and threw it on the ground. He then proceeded to remove all other weapons he was carrying with him, and the pile accumulated until he could think of no other weapons he had on him. He moved the flaps of his coat back a bit, to show that he wasn't hiding any more weapons. "I am unarmed." He had a feeling that if he was going to speak to the ruler of the 8th Kingdom in private, he would be told to get rid of tools that would be of threat to him.
After all, his intention today was not to kill the king. Not at all. He was trying to form an alliance with him. Even if Relish decided to betray him somewhere down the road, and go against the alliance, that would all happen after today. For now, he needed to build a relationship as allies with this man. He was not going to answer any questions until it was just the two of them.

"Your as private as your going to get with the Emperor this day." Galahad spoke firmly. "As I said, I am his brother, and personal guard. I will of course, remain over here, and not speak, but I will not leave the room."

This Troll was a strange visitor. Grimm was not familiar with their kind, but if he was judging by this individual, then his opinion of the Troll community as a whole could not be very high. The man had failed to bow to him. Grimm wasn’t a haughty leader, but his Kingdom was very courteous and it was customary to bow. Not only that, but the Troll demanded a private meeting. None should dare make demands of the emperor.
Grimm nodded to Galahad when he spoke, showing Relish that his brother’s words were true. Looking back to the Troll, he said “I praise your show of good will by removing your weapons. However, as my General has said, this is as private as meetings with me can be. I will not be parted from my personal guard. I hope you understand.”
The Troll should be happy that he was allowed to see the emperor at all. He had just come strolling up to the castle, making demands. He was lucky that the guards didn’t tell him to go away and come back again next year. It was customary for rulers to send letters before arriving in person. Obviously, the Trolls were not a customary sort of people.

Suck an elf! This was extremely irritating for Relish. He began to wonder if it was worth it. If he were to be allied with them, then would think 'emperor' let him rule his own portion? Relish would have to overthrow him if he did not. He would have to see...he had time though. He just had to take it one step at a time. He looked at the general and then turned back to the king. He didn't wanted him to stand there, but Relish also didn't want to waste time arguing; he certainly did not want to spend a second longer than he needed to in this place.
"You're in the middle of a civil war," he began, stating the obvious but he wanted him to know that he knew the current situation, and that it was what he was here to talk about. "How is that going?" He asked, slightly sarcastically but not in a mocking way. He asked because he was curious. It was an odd tone really for Relish was not even sure how he meant it.

It was a very good thing that the troll had his back to Galahad, because after the troll's last remark Galahad wanted to drag him by his ears out of the castle. However Galahad simple looked at his brother is a face that said 'I want to kick him'.

Grimm made brief eye-contact with his brother and shook his head very slightly. He knew that look on Galahad's face and the answer was 'no.' Let the troll stay for a while longer. Don't just drag him out. Give him a chance.
Even if he was the rudest 'guest' that ever entered the castle. . .
Looking back to the troll, Grimm's eyes narrowed. He didn't like where this was going. However, he would attempt to give this creature some time to explain himself before throwing him out. It was the respectable thing to do, though he wasn't feeling entirely like being respectable with a rude troll. (Then again, a troll could be much ruder, right?)
"That's really none of your business," Grimm replied. "And how did you hear about that? I wasn't aware of any news about my Kingdom reaching outsiders." He was not pleased.
